Why patios go wrong
Almost every sunken, wobbling patio in the county failed for the same reason: not enough was dug out, and what went back in was not compacted in layers. The stone on top is rarely the problem.
We dig to depth, lay granular in lifts, and compact each one. It is the least visible part of the job and the reason ours are still flat years later.

Too much depends on access, stone choice and what we find when we start digging for a price list to be honest here. What we can promise is a fixed written number before anything comes up.

- Materials at cost with receipts, no markup
- If we hit something unexpected we stop and re-quote before carrying on
- Small jobs are welcome, a single walkway is a fine job to ask about
