About Redbrook

Three people, two trucks, and a deliberately short list of things we are good at.

Small on purpose

We could have taken on more crews years ago. We did not, because the moment you do, the person who quoted the job stops being the person standing in the garden doing it, and the quality starts arriving by luck.

Staying at three means we know every property on the books. We know which gate sticks, which dog needs warning about, and which bed floods after a hard rain.

It also means we say no sometimes. If the calendar is full, we will tell you that rather than squeeze you in badly.

How we work

Things we will not do

Easier to judge a company by, usually, than a list of things they will.

Quote over the phone

We will not price a property we have not stood on. A number given blind is a number that changes later.

Mark up materials

Plants, stone and mulch are charged at what we paid, with the receipts. We make our money on the work.

Tie you to a contract

No seasonal minimum, no cancellation fee. If you want us to stop, tell us and we stop.

Sell you the bigger job

If your beds want a tidy rather than a redesign, we will say so, even though the redesign pays better.

Leave a mess

Clippings cleared, surfaces blown down, gates shut. The property looks finished when we drive away.

Disappear mid-job

Once we start a project we are on it until it is done, not dipping in between other people's emergencies.
